Our team was recruited by CIO of a provincial government to review an ITO contract extension opportunity. The project involved a detailed review of the current contract and all supporting documentation and the proposed extension. Our recommendations for improving the current contract and conditions for agreeing to the extension resulted in the renegotiation of contracted services including more rigorous service performance reporting and significantly reduced service costs.
Our team was engaged by the organizations Vice President of Human Resources to review the performance of their HRO contract. The project involved the detailed assessment of the contract and all associated documentation including statements of work, change orders etc, as well as intensive interviews with internal and service provider staff and executives. Our recommendations focused on detailed actions for service performance improvement, reducing costs and strengthening contract management.
Our team was engaged by the organizations CEO to review the relationship between the organization and their outsourcing service provider. The project involved intensive interviews with internal and service provider staff and executives. Our recommendations focused on strategies and detailed actions for enhancing the relationship through clarifying joint expectations and strengthening governance processes.
Our team was recruited by the Director of Technology Solutions of an information services organization to review its’ two IT outsourcing deals. The project involved a review of service provider performance against the contract, contract management effectiveness and the service provider/client relationship. Our recommendations resulted in substantial improvement to service provider performance and increased the satisfaction of all parties. The success of the review has led to us assisting in the renegotiation of both contracts.
Our team was engaged by the CEO of a B.C. health authority to work with the CEO’s of the six health authorities to create the vision and strategic design for a province wide shared services organization. The B.C. Health Authority Shared Services initiative will be the first multi-functional health sector model in Canada, initially providing information technology, supply chain and HR/Payroll services to the six health authorities across the province. Through multiple presentations, workshops and providing expert advice we created a strategic context document that was approved by the health authority CEO’s and Board Chairs in December 2008.
Our team was engaged to assess the performance and effectiveness of an internal municipal shared services organization established during consolidation to reduce costs and improve service. Our review found that services and customer relationships required significant enhancement. We identified strategies and actions for service improvement and established business partner and customer relationship management roles to ensure customer needs and desired outcomes were identified and responded to.
Our team was engaged by the CEO of a crown corporation in central Canada to work with the leadership team to define the organization’s strategic direction. There was a clear need to clarify customer needs and to ensure the organization was delivering services that were achieving outcomes responsive to these needs. Through one-on-one meetings, leadership team and Board workshops and providing expert advice we assisted the organization to clearly define and confirm its’ future role and direction.
Our team was engaged by the executive responsible for building a new marketing team in a specialized and growing area. We worked with the senior team to confirm marketing outputs and client needs and to clearly define the required functions which were allocated effectively across the new team. The final structure and integration across the functions will significantly contribute to the effectiveness and value of the marketing team.
